I used A Reason For Science Level C with my second and third grade children They LOVED all the experiments I actually DID experiments with this curriculum because the homeschool kit contains most needed supplies I like that this teaches to the National Science Standards The fact that students practice the scientific method and write up simple lab reports was also a plus The downside of this curriculum is that there is no supplementary reading material It was tough to search certain concepts out in the library with no suggested list So after taking the test I realized that sometimes my children didn't learn what they should have from the experiment alone [Source: Rainbow Resource, November 24, 2008]
