This has been a huge win for both me and my 6-year-old. We appreciate the traceable dotted lines that begin each line. Our current curriculum requires her write without any lines -just verbal instruction- and she started disliking handwriting practice. I purchased this because I knew she'd love the end of week verse page to decorate. It's been a huge hit! It makes correcting mistakes even easier when she loves what she's working on, and it has given her a lot of confidence. I am so glad to have found this program!
Easy to follow. Well done pictures and godly content. Lots of room to practice. Great little book.
This book has not yet been put to use, however, I am excited for my kinder to use this book.
I love the handwriting books. Teaches the children the correct formation. Today kids are struggling with handwriting and creating sentences. My goal is to help a child be a better reader and that alone will help a child become a better writer along with scripture memorization! Thank You, A Reason For, for your products!
My son enjoyed the ease of use.
My children and I are thoroughly enjoying A Reason for Spelling! We specifically are grateful to find that every lesson is woven with scripture and a great beginning lesson that incorporates a Bible Lesson. My boys are enjoying spelling!
This is a great resource for my Kindergartener who does not have an interest in handwriting. I started her in this Pre-K book and she is enjoying the pre-writing skills without the pressure! We will get the K book for next semester!

This is our first time using a handwriting curriculum, my sister suggested this one. So far it has been easy to use and understand. The teacher manual is easy to understand as well. I like the tree house concept to give my kids guidance on where to place their letters. We also really like the bible verses that they get to write and give away to others.
I used these when homeschooling at least my two youngest children (now 35 and 38); don’t remember about the two older ones (now 44 and 47).
At present, I am tutoring a neighbor boy (12) who struggles with legible handwriting, so I purchased this book to try to help him.
I just received the books, so we’ve only worked on it once. We spent the whole session just on “c” . . . and that one still needs a lot of practice. (We have 6 school-years worth years of bad habits to overcome.) I found printable handwriting sheets online, and he will have practice each letter however many times it takes to get it consistently correct.
I also purchased the “K” book and the “B” book. I thought I might need “B” for my neighbor boy, but I think we will do fine with just the “T” book and lots of printed handwriting paper.
I will be also be working with a friend who will be starting homeschool with her granddaughter (6) this fall. The “K”book is for the granddaughter.
Might as well get her started off with correct handwriting!
We are enjoying this curriculum so much. It is laid out very easy for my daughter to understand.
I’m so in love with this curriculum! The rich scripture teaching permeates each day’s lesson. Such an invaluable piece to our homeschool journey! Thank you!
My daughter is loving grabbing her letter books to read. She loves school time with them.
