Recommended for Grade 5. Cursive. 144 pages.
A Reason for Handwriting Level E Student Worktext includes 32 weekly lessons, which each provide 10-15 minutes of daily practice. On days 1 - 3, your child writes letters and words from the week's Scripture verse. On day 4, she'll transcribe the entire verse on a sheet of practice paper. On the final day, she can select a Border Sheet from the back of the book, and write the week's Scripture verse in her best cursive handwriting, then use her creativity to color the design on the Border Sheet.
Note: The weekly verse in A Reason For Handwriting Level E corresponds with the same week's theme verse in A Reason For Spelling Level E, thus reinforcing the Scripture content of each lesson.

all 3 of my kids have done well with this. Their cursive is neater than mine, and a daily assignment is a manageable amount [Source: Rainbow Resource, December 26, 2018]
I like this book and the format. It is very easy to use and focuses on the right things for an upper elementary writer. [Source: Rainbow Resource, September 24, 2017]
I love this program! As well as teaching scripture to your child it has colorful pages and engages your child into handwritingIt was extremely easy for our daughter to use No prep for the teacher was necessary We used grade 5 so perhaps there is some prep for the younger grades [Source: Rainbow Resource, August 2, 2007]

I was looking for something for 6th and 8th graders who wanted more experience with their penmanship...this is good - was hoping for more mature look like the Italic series offers - but girls aren't complaining, so I won't either! [Source: Timberdoodle, 11/06/2015]
